My background is in storytelling. I have worked as a producer and director for full-cast audio drama productions and been a consultant and script doctor for domestic and international film productions.
Ever since having read „The Humane Interface“ by Jef Raskin I’ve been fascinated by the empathetic act of good designers who make a difference by creating technology that is user-centered and therefore easier to assess, grasp and make use of.
By chance, I got to know about UX design as a profession and I was hooked, since it was the perfect combination of what I had done and what I wanted to do in the future. I studied for about a year to acquire the necessary know-how (and a certificate).
Besides UX, story craft and writing I’m a passionate cyclist, trail runner and alpine skier (sadly, not many mountains around here). I also enjoy researching future technologies and I host a monthly Joseph Campbell Foundation Mythology Roundtable meeting.
